The MRMF Celebrates The Opening Of The Buganda School of Greatness
The Buganda School of Greatness in the Republic of Burundi is celebrating the opening of their brand new facility for young men in the East African country, thanks in part to a substantial donation and ongoing partnership by The Myles & Ruth Munroe Foundation.
The Foundation recently partnered with the Men of Purpose, Journey of Self Discovery organization to construct a new school building to address the needs of at-risk youth in Burundi.
The ongoing partnership and support by the Foundation will ensure that essential needs are addressed including the lack of education, basic needs such as food, clothing and shelter, unemployment and restricted social activities.
“The continent of Africa was one of my parent’s favourite place to visit and to minister, and it holds a special place in my family’s hearts. They loved to help people.
We know the community work that Men of Purpose do, and this partnership was simply a no brainer for us,” said Myles Munroe Jr. Vice President of the MRMF Foundation.
According to Munroe, he looks forward to seeing how The Buganda School of Greatness grows and transforms the young men of Burundi to walk into their purpose and become agents of change within their community.
Men of Purpose is an American not-for-profit organization whose mission is to teach, motivate, and create a band of young men to become self-sufficient, purposeful and productive change agents worldwide through programming that offers intrusive mentoring spiritual guidance, academic support, and athletic immersion. There are currently two active chapters in Chicago Illinois and Burundi, Africa.
