MYLES & RUTH MUNROE FOUNDATION HOLIDAY CELEBRATION A SUCCESS

The Myles & Ruth Munroe Foundation brought smiles to 31 little faces during the Christmas season when the foundation returned to The Bahamas Emergency Children’s Hostel for a second year to spread a little holiday cheer and goodwill.

“It feels so good to be back here and interacting with the children and staff for a second year.  In life if you are blessed, you have a responsibility to give back, and that is what we are doing today, just giving back by giving gifts to the kids and having breakfast with them, said Myles Munroe Jr. “I’m especially excited to catch up with some of the kids that my sister and I had the opportunity to meet last year.  To see how they’ve grown and how they are doing.”

While the children were treated to toys, tablets, clothes, dolls and more, the Foundation did not overlook the tireless efforts of the BECH staff, and donated a monetary gift to assist with the daily operating cost of the home.  “We appreciate your servanthood; we salute you and the hard work that you do every single day on behalf of these children.  We have not and will not forget you,” said Charissa Munroe before presenting the staff with a check for $3,000.

The Bahamas Children Emergency Hostel Christmas giveback will remain a staple on the Myles & Ruth Munroe Foundation’s calendar of events and Myles Jr. & Charissa hope to make each year bigger and better than the last.
