This past weekend, The Myles & Ruth Munroe hosted our annual back to school backpack giveback. It was a fun-filled day that allowed our youth to relax, kick off their shoes and have a little fun before gearing up for the 2019/2020 school season.

This year the foundation provided backpacks and school supplies for a select group of kids. The groups included Second Chance organization, The Simpson Penn Boys II Men, P31 Group of Bahamas Faith Ministries and the Bahamas Children Emergency Hostel.

In addition to receiving school supplies the students were treated to team building games provided by Putting Paradise, a puppet-show featuring Derek Adams and Charlie the Yellow Bahamian and food and drinks provided by Corn Diggity Dogs and Limeade Bahamas and music provided by DJ Counsellor. We would like to thank our amazing volunteers who selflessly show up for the MRM Foundation every year to give back to the community and ensuring that the kids are well equipped for the upcoming school year.
