The Myles and Ruth Munroe Foundation is grateful for your support and patronage over the past year. The Myles & Ruth Munroe Foundation hosted it’s 5th annual Christmas party for the children and staff of the Bahamas Children’s Emergency Hostel. The Foundation partnered with Life Beyond Water and Just 4 Kids to provide gifts for each child at the hostel, and Derrick Adams & Charlie The Yellow Bahamian to provide music & entertainment and Limeade Bahamas to provide tasty drinks!
The Foundation was also able to make a donation to the Bahamas Children’s Emergency Hostel, which will help to assist in efforts where necessary.
We would like to thank our volunteers, who play an integral part in ensuring the success of our Christmas initiative! We are grateful for your generosity and we know that the children of the BCEH enjoyed your presence!

We are continually grateful for the continued support we are receiving in our Hurricane Dorian Relief efforts. To date, we have raised $77,044 along with tons of food items, clothing, and other basic supplies. Thank you for answering the call. Your support allows us to continue to assist our brothers and sisters in need.

Hurricane Dorian Relief, Hurricane Dorian Update
We are so grateful for the outpouring of support during the last few days in the aftermath of Hurricane Dorian. Those of you who have given monetarily or donated goods and supplies for the relief efforts have answered the call and for that I thank you.
To date, we have raised a total of $23,326 through your donations. We are asking for your continued support in the efforts to assist the many individuals and families that have been negatively impacted by Hurricane Dorian.
We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you who have sent us prayers, messages, and donations in the aftermath of Hurricane Dorian.
The response has been truly heartwarming and we know that your kindness will go a long way in helping to begin the process of restoring and rebuilding those communities that we have lost.
As you may know, Hurricane Dorian recently passed through The Bahamas leaving destruction and devastation never seen before by our country. Two of our major islands, The Abacos and Grand Bahama have experienced major flooding and complete loss of homes and other personal possessions. Many of the residents have had to flee their homes to find shelter.
In the aftermath of Hurricane Dorian, The Myles & Ruth Munroe Foundation is 100% committed to providing ongoing support to the place we call home, The Islands of The Bahamas.
This past weekend, The Myles & Ruth Munroe hosted our annual back to school backpack giveback. It was a fun-filled day that allowed our youth to relax, kick off their shoes and have a little fun before gearing up for the 2019/2020 school season.

The Myles & Ruth Munroe Foundation hosted its annual Back-to-School event on Saturday September 1st at 11:00am–3:00pm on the Bahamas Faith Ministries grounds on Carmichael Road. The annual event seeks to ensure that students returning to school are equipped with the basic tools needed to excel.
